The Ohio Oilheat Council (OOC) develops and implements forward-thinking, Oilheat-focused programs and projects across the Buckeye State. OOC works to achieve priorities identified by the National Oilheat Research Alliance (NORA), and its latest initiatives focus on consumer education; research, development and demonstration; safety; and training the Oilheat industry. OCC is the Oilheat-outreach arm of the Ohio Petroleum Marketers & Convenience Store Association (OPMCA).
The Ohio Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association (OPMCA) is the statewide trade association representing more than 500 independent, small businesses in the petroleum and convenience industry. OPMCA’s members own and operate the overwhelming majority of Ohio’s 5,605 convenience stores and employ more than 92,000 Ohioans. Members on the wholesale side of the industry employ thousands more in commercial fueling facilities, transportation divisions, heating oil sales and home offices. The association works day-in and day-out to communicate members’ interest, to protect against unwarranted regulatory burdens, and to educate decision-makers about the key role petroleum marketers and retailers play in driving Ohio’s economy. For 95 years, our members have relied on OPMCA to safeguard a business climate where petroleum and convenience prospers.
